AGVs for automated material transfer on factory floors

Autonomous Ground Vehicles (AGVs) for Intralogistics Applications

In the environment of modern intralogistics, traditional Automated Ground Vehicles (AGVs) are often constrained by rigid infrastructure, such as relying on magnetic tape, reflectors, or static maps that fail the moment a pallet is misplaced or a corridor becomes congested. Our CyberCortex.AI operating system breaks these boundaries, transforming the AGV from a simple transporter into a context-aware intelligent agent. By fusing real-time spatial mapping with semantic perception, our solution enables AGVs to not only navigate with precision, but to also understand their surroundings (e.g. distinguishing a permanent storage rack from a temporary obstacle or a human worker).
The integration of CyberCortex.AI into the AgileX Scout 2.0 mobile platform, transforms it from a remote-controlled chassis into a fully autonomous intralogistics robotic system.
Our product utilizes a multi-sensor stack to eliminate the blind spots of single-modality systems:
  • 360° 3D LiDAR for high-fidelity spatial mapping and distance measurement.
  • RGB stereo-depth camera for perception, localization and mapping.
  • Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) for high-precision Visual-Inertial Odometry (IMU).
The Intralogistics solution combines our CyC GraphSense product for perception, localization and mapping, with CyC GraphPlan, used for trajectory planning and control.
